Kathy Griffin is formally most cancers free.
The 61-year-old comic shared the information in the course of the Nov. 30 episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!. Whereas explaining why her voice sounded completely different, Griffin mentioned she had lung surgical procedure a number of months in the past.
“In August, I had half of my left lung eliminated. I am not even kidding,” she mentioned. “Now, they, like, put the intubation tube to drop by my vocal wire. So now I am, like, Minnie Mouse meets Marilyn Monroe, I am unsure.”
When Jimmy Kimmel requested if the docs obtained “all of the lung most cancers out of there,” Griffin confirmed, “Sure! So I am most cancers free.”
Griffin knowledgeable her followers of her surgery and stage 1 lung cancer battle in an August Instagram post, urging them to “keep updated in your medical checkups” and that “it will save your life.”
